I Can’t Select/Find My Facebook Page

If a Facebook Page is grayed out and you can’t select it, it’s for one of two reasons:

  1. The page is unpublished. (Shown as “Page Not Published”)
  2. The page is restricted from advertising. (Shown as “Disabled”)

How to fix it

Issue 1 — The page is unpublished

If you see “Page Not Published” next to the grayed-out page name, it means the page is currently unpublished.

This often happens when Meta marks the page as inactive.

How to publish your page:

  • Follow this guide: How to reactivate a Facebook page
  • Or go to your Facebook profile → open the page → click the “Publish Page” button at the top.

Issue 2 — The page is restricted from advertising

If you see a red “Disabled” label, the page has an advertising restriction.

In this case, the page cannot be used with MyAdForce.
You can appeal the restriction or choose another Facebook Page.

If you don’t see your Facebook Page in the dropdown

Your Facebook profile does not have access to that page.

How to fix it:

  1. Add the Facebook profile connected to MyAdForce as an admin of the page.
(Guide: How to add a profile to a Facebook page)
  2. Return to MyAdForce and click the refresh icon next to the Facebook Page field.
  3. Connect your Facebook Page again.

⚠️ “Select Page” Error Message in the dropdown

This error appears when the Business Manager you selected does not have any Facebook Page associated with it.

How to fix it:

Solution 1 — Add a Facebook Page to your Business Manager

  1. Follow this guide: How to add a page to a Business Manager account.
  2. Go back to MyAdForce and click the refresh icon next to the Facebook Page field.

Your page should now appear, and you’ll be able to select it.

Solution 2 — Use a different Business Manager

Select another Business Manager from the dropdown — one that already has at least one Facebook Page attached.
